Palmer pocket amp

Hi guys,
I know nothing about recording gear, and I have a question...

I have a Palmer pocket amp bass, I use it for silent practice in the evening. Can I use it to record me playing bass or play along? I mean, plug my bass to Palmer pocket amp and connect the Palmer to a PC/laptop using an XLR to USB adapter, and record?

an adapter like this one, perhaps....
ART TConnect USB Instrument Interface
you would not be using the XLR "DI" output; you would use the 1/4" "AMP" output of the pocket amp bass instead.
