Lined, partially-lined, dots, whatever. On a dark stage or in a theater pit, you can't see any of them. With this bass, they won't see you, either, haha!

For what it's worth and I'm not a huge Ibanez fan but I do like the BTB except for the lower horn length, I played that new SRF 705 Portomento. 5 string and it is a really nice playing bass with the extended fingerboard and piezo bridge. Didn't care so much for the 4-string at all, but the 5 was really nice!

I believe it's 19 or close to it anyway.

Thank you very much. I've seen a couple of you tube clips where the Portomento was featured and the bass sounded great. Very interested in buying one if the spacing is 19mm or very close to that.

After a bit more research i learned that the spacing is 16.5mm at bridge. This information came from Musicians Friend.
