Parts code help! (Fender)

Hey everyone,

I recently played my bassist's Pino Palladino P-bass, and its easily the most comfortable neck I've ever played on a P-Bass, which is why I'm looking to get the same neck and swap it out on my P-Bass.

I have the sites of several Fender parts wholesalers, but they're organized by the UPC codes. Does anyone know where one can get these codes for Fenders? Should I just shoot them an email?

I tried the Pino today in a store and I agree the neck feels great, which is odd (to me) as it is so wide. But, size wise, shouldn't it be the same as the 62 AV? Same width at nut at least. Could be other differences I don't know about, but maybe it would be an option getting one of those and sand it :).

As an authorized Fender tech, I can tell you that a new neck from them is simply out of the question and will not happen, nor will you get any kind of exchange on it. The distribution of replacement necks by Fender is closely-regulated to deter fraud.

I have played the 62 RI neck in the American Vintage series, and it just doesn't feel the same. The Pino has the nicest neck on a bass I've ever played...:crying:
