I have a TC Electronics RH750 which I've gigged with for around 8 years. It's a great amp. I never had a problem with the knobs but a couple of pre set buttons have cracked. I contacted them and they advised me to contact their UK distributor. I did this and paid and ordered three replacement buttons. This was over a year ago believe it or not. There have been many emails from me to Music Tribe and UK distributor but I still haven't received the buttons. Just wondered if anyone else have had a similar experience.

Yes, I’ve had similar experiences with TC Electronics when they were the distributors for Lab Gruppen amplifiers. Out of 24 amps over 12-14 years, we had problems with only 3 amps which were covered under warranty. But each occasion was a hair-pulling, teeth-extracting episode to get RAs, addresses, and then months of waiting for the repairs. Thats why I was never interested in the TC bass amps.
Now Music Tribe owns both TC and Lab Gruppen……:rollno:

You are not the only one waiting on parts from Music Tribe. I contacted them in 2022 to start a repair on KT DN9848E. Previously they repaired two of my older KT units in-house. These repairs were turned around very quickly and communication was excellent.

They said they only do warranty repairs now, so I would need to send the DN9848E to an authorized repair center, which I did. I paid the $135 bench fee and approved replacing the unit's rotary encoders in Dec 2022 and have been waiting on parts since then.

Per the repair center, Music Tribe does not provide any sort of status or expected ship-date.

After the last time I called the repair facility for an update I replied to the last email I got Music Tribe and never got any sort of response, so apparently the previous work order is closed. I was planning on starting a new contact to see if I could get some answers...but haven't gotten around to it yet.

I also considered trying to track down the parts myself. Unfortunately the P/Ns used on the work order are pretty much BS so I am dead in the water unless I can track down an actual factory P/N

Offhand, I find plenty of times that a phone call yields better results than a chat, and chat yields better results than email.

I don't know what your laws are, but if you paid for them, and they accepted payment, it would not be legal here for them to not send them, or refund the money.
I got the improved knobs, it's one of the preset buttons that has cracked. I have spoken to the UK distributor as well as emails. The cost is very small £2.80 just want the buttons but not looking likely, it still works OK.

Yeah, Music Tribe is a dumpster fire. I really like my RH750, especially for its features, most significant of them being the presets (great for maintaining output levels when switching between passive & active basses). But holy hell just try to get a response from MTR when you need anything at all. Still waiting for the replacement knobs I ordered years ago... I wound up buying some 3d-printed ones off Etsy, I think.

Just curious, has anyone else been making heads with similar features lately? Just started looking so I thought I'd ask... I find myself making a lot of use of the preset footswitch and am just wondering what else I might want to consider if my current head dies.
