Double Bass Passione Amorosa

My cellist broke her arm and messed up her shoulder in a car accident and is going to have surgery so she wont be able to do it.

I've talked with my teacher and I am hooking up with a violin for the Grand Dou Concerto. I've got a year to work on it so I'm going to work my ass off. I'm also going to play Bottesini No. 2 again (hopefully I'll finish higher than third this next year). (You can play with a ensamble and by your self which doubles my chances)

Thanks for all the posts guys. Hopefully in the future I can hook up with another basssist capable of playing it. I'm sorry to waist all of your times. Guys.

Thanks again!!

Good luck with the Gran Duo...I checked it out from the library four or five months ago, and it was incredibly difficult. You will need to have good rhythm as well as technique to really get it down.
I'm hoping I can get it down. I'm checking it out of the Lee music library next week. (I would order it but lemur is out of stock and IMC doesn't carry it)

I'm just hoping I can keep up with the violin. (we have some crazy good violins who have been playing since they were 3 or something)
