Passive tone control OFFboard?

Does it exist a small unit or something, pedal or anything, cable, that has passive tone control?

I think this would be cool and useful tool for active basses without passive tone control.

It's something that can be made rather easilly and cheaply, however, I'm not aware of a unit being made already.

Manley Labs makes the Massive Passive, a large passive eq primarily meant for studio use (i.e. not for bass). Craig Anderton designed a nice passive tone control box and published it in his EPFM book. Plenty of high-end amps advertise a passive tone control. I really don't know of any more, I'm not sure there's much call for it.
