Always loved the look of Fodera Emperors

I already have the workhorse P and J.
Others that intrigue me are NYBW, Ritter, Atlansia (love my Aria SB), F bass and Dingwall

Age 15/16(Whenever i started playing)
A warwick stryker, saw one in a music shop visiting sister in university, loved it.... but the price tag was a ooooh dear point :crying:

A few years later i still liked the stryker, but my ideas had gone down a tad, back to one of the basses i looked at for a start when i started but got a epiphone thunderbird instead back then, and that was a Spector, particularily in the holoflash

A year or two after that i ended up with my fender precision and i stuck with that for a while.

Now age 20 it would take something special for my dream bass to be anything but my own Warmoth Z 5 string bass.

P.S Its a dark purple indoors, in bright lights it does go that more light purple/pinky colour.

I did not have one at 15, in college in the 1970's it was a Fender Jazz in the natural finish.

At 59 when I took up the bass again it was still a Jazz but the MIM Deluxe Active I wanted/could afford was not available in natural so I got black. A few months later I am looking at fivers and I have to say that visually the Squier Jazz V in natural still does it for me but I just can't deal with the 19mm string spacing on a fiver so I am switching allegiance to an Ibanez SR505, most likely. Maybe someday I will upgrade my MIM Deluxe to an American Deluxe which is available in natural though....

Well I started playing at about age 13. My first bass was a MIM Pbass, although I don't really remember myself checking out all the different brands as I do now. I do remember at about age 16 I really wanted an Alembic, that was probably my dream bass.

Now I'm 22 (in a month) and my dream bass is a koa topped Fodera Imperial, with a ebony fretboard (as for the body I'm not really sure, maybe mahogony with a flame maple tone block).

My tastes really have changed, as I am not that fond of Alembic's looks anymore. I still think they're cool basses, but asthetically my tastes have changed.

I'd also like a custom J bass. Maybe a Fender Custom Shop.

My Dream Bass at 15 was the Top-Of-The-Line Alembic Series 2 (think Entwistle), along with custom Hamer !2-string (Tom Petersson, of course), and Rickenbackers all over the place
(Chris Squire, Geddy Lee).
Well, the Rickenbacker is now in storage, along with the Galveston 12-string. And an Alembic was never going to happen.
Now i play a pair of E-series MIJ Fender Jazz Bass Specials every weekend in my Dance-Rock cover band- and i really couldn't ask for more...

At 15, in 1985, all I wanted was a BC Rich or something similar, since all the bands I was into back then played pointies.

Now, a P with flats. Weird. I used to think it was all about moving forward, little did I know that I wouldn't find "my" sound till I looked into the past.

1st where can i get 1 of those B.C Rich wave basses and how much do they cost?

and as for the primary question the first bass i wanted was a musicman stingray because the bassist of my favorite band at the time (billy talent) played one as did queen's bassist,

as for the bass i want now thats a tough question 2 of my favorite looking ones are the bc rich heritage classic mockingbird and the black widow. but if i had to pick a top 5 it would be
1.bc rich mockingbird
2.rickenbaker 4001
3.gibson sg/thunderbird(they are a tie at this point)
4.dean spire 5
5.bc rich black widow
