Here is a video of Herbie Hancock with Wah Wah Watson playing Don Kirshner's New Rock Concert. Of course the great Paul Jackson is on bass. It's all great but when they start playing "Doin' It" (which starts at 10:38) the band takes it to a whole new level. By 14:00 I'm having an out-of-body experience because it's so funky. I absolutely love Jackson's tone. Enjoy with headphones!

Paul at his finest here. Of course the whole band is phenomenal but this is a Paul Jackson appreciation thread so.... "Actual Proof" is mind blowing, especially considering it was 1974.
I'm really just guessing because I don't know. This guy looks a lot heavier than Harvey. Maybe he was eating out a lot?

Correct, MicroMoog. Single oscillator monophonic unit from the Norlin era.
That's definitely not Mike Clarke in the OP video. But it is Mike Clarke on "Steady Freddy" and Thrust and yeah, he is badass!
