paulownia bass bodies

So I built a paulownia bass several years back and I love playing it as it weighs in at around 6.5 lbs. I have been thinking about building another and have been having a very hard time finding a paulownia p bass body. I remember Guitar Fetish use to sell them for like 75 bucks. Looking at their site it seems they are all out of stock. Is there a paulownia wood shortage or something? Does anyone know where to get these lightweight bodies anymore? I'd prefer one that is already painted..

paulownia is supposed to be one of the fastest growing trees, in abundance, in asia...so IDK about a shortage of the raw material --- maybe some manufacturing/supply chain issues?

FWIW i got all of my paulownia bodies by buying glarrys, just because they came with a poly finish, 8-9 different colors/looks, Ps, Js, ibby-ish bodies, and a few more. i removed some material on one to make a PJ.
