Peavey 215 refurb - grill cloth? Corners?

This was a Peavey 215 - the center slot version - that became a Fender after new Tolex, grill and hardware.

One thing about the Peavey gear from this era -- it was like an old Ford truck...it just would NOT die!

The Peavey 215 is monster. I remember when the first shipment appeared at the local guitar shop. We kids
were astounded by the depth and weight of the cabinets and thought they were so outrageous (in a good way). The Acoustic 2x15s were also monsters but the Peaveys had that 'new thing' vibe.

yeah I can imagine, it’s such a beast of a unit (both sound and looks). It’s funny, I used a 4x10 and 2x10 for years then eventually two 4x10s but always looked at people with an 8x10 like “why would you bother making it harder on yourself lugging that!?” - never owned a 1x15... yet somehow the 2x15 makes sense to me! Go figure.
