Peavey 2x15 and Mesa Boogie Powerhouse 2x15???

Whoa, first post.
Hey guys... I recently acquired an Acoustic 370 and am on the hunt for a cab to pair it with.
I came across a Peavey 2x15 from the '90s that has been replaced with CTS square magnet speakers for $229 plus $150 shipping. I also came across a Mesa Boogie Powerhouse 2x15... appears to be an older one. It has EV15Ls in it, and it's going for $350 total. Thoughts/opinions on using these cabs with my 370? Thanks!

Either cab should be ok and I don’t know much about the CTS square drivers but I like EV15Ls.

I would take the Mesa. How old? Is it actually the Diesel series? If so, it's two Electro-Voice TL-606 cabinets (basically) in one cab, and will kill small animals.

The EV's are decent speakers, but some replacements can sound phenomenal in that cabinet.

Pity the PV isn't loaded w/BWs, that'd be a good cab, the CTS aren't much to write home about IMHO. Based on your choices I'd go w/the Mesa, EVM-15Ls are very nice, esp if as pointed out it's the Diesel (2-TL606s) cab

If those EV15L's are in good shape they will blast the pants off
the weezy square magnet poopy doos.

I think the JBL K-140 and the EV 15L are the most favorite
15's among certain circles.

I believe the powerhose was based on the well known
EV TL606 Enclosure.
much better buy all together, the EV's are even worth a recone
the square deals are throw aways.
