Peavey 8x10 cabinet impedance rating?

I picked up a Peavey MkIII head and matching 8x10 cabinet on Craigslist, and I'm trying to find out what the rating of the cabinet is. I see the head has a minimum rating of 4 ohms, but it says nothing on the cab. I tried to measure it with my multimeter, but I can't quite touch the tab on the inside of the jack. Should this cab be 4 or 8 ohm?

As far as I know, all Peavey 810's have been 4 ohm.

Bobby would be the one to weigh in on this.

To the OP a MkIII and I assume TX810 would be a killer rig. I owned a TX810 and IMHO its one of the best 810's out there.

I was hoping the cab would be 4 ohm. I'd like to also use my modified '67 Bassman with it, at least for recording. I blew a speaker in my 2x15 Traynor cab, and this whole setup was only $100 on Craigslist! :-D
