Peavey 8x10 ohms?

I have a peavey 8x10 cabinet that i just purchased from a friend.
It is from the early 90's (old logo and silver side rails models)

I was wondering if anyone else has this cab and if they know what the wattage/ ohms are for this cab. The plate on the back has been removed leaving no info on the cab except for the speakers but before I go opening things up, I figured I'd ask.

Thanks

Peavey 810TVX
* Power handling: 400 Watts RMS continuous, 800 Watts program
* Eight 10 inch Sheffield® bass speakers
* Special ported enclosure
* Horn-loaded tweeter with L-pad attenuator and crossover
* Crossover point: 2 kHz
* Black Tolex® covering
* Tilt-back wheel design for easy portability
* Frequency response: 30 Hz to 15 kHz
* 4 Ohm enclosure

It definitely doesn't have a horn, so the tvx is out.
It's most likely 4 ohms which really answers my question, but maybe my dating is a little off. This may be a mode from the late 80's. It doesnt have a tilt back design for the wheels. It actually had casters under it but I removed them and modded the cab so that I could make it tilt back for easier transporting.

None of the T series had stripes. I believe it was TX, TXF, TVX etc...all plain black.

I'm guessing late 80's as well, because I had bought my first TX cabinets in 90, 91 and they were all black and carpeted, then the tolex versions came after.

I'd give the Peavey forum a quick visit, there is a guy on there from Peavey who seems to know his stuff.

I'd love to see a picture of this cab! :cool:

There's a local seller with a Peavey 6 X 10 (older cab with silver rails) that I'm tempted to look at, but I believe it's a guitar cab (seller advertises as a bass cab but the serial number has a "G" which I assume is for guitar ). :hmm:

I wonder if it would still work for bass though.
