Peavey Alpha Bass amp

Anyone know anything about these old Peaveys?

A local guy that I know has one, and may be selling it. Its all tube, but I dont know the wattage. All I do know is that it sounds pretty good for what it is.

Anyone know what its worth?

The thing is 100% tube and about 200 watts. I bet it would kill through your Bergs

I bet it would, but I dont have any cash to spend. Really just looking for a valuation, to help him out.

I OWN ONE and I love it! make SURE you pair it with a very effeicient speaker otherwise it wont sound as nice I ran mine with a peavey 1516 and it sounded meh and was very quiet then I got a mesa 4x10 and it blows me away everytime OH dont change the inverter tube to a 12AX7 it sounds like arse

Oh I got mine for $410 with the 1516 so probably around $300

I bought one for $140, sold it for $200. Pretty cool, not especially loud, more like 150 watts. Good sounds, flexible, some nice overdrive if you mess with the EQ. Only does 2 or 4 ohms. Good guitar amp with a good stompbox in front of it.

it does 8 ohms it has jacks that say 4 ohms minimum and 2 ohms minimum

yeah he PMed me back when I bought mine man are you serious about that amp lol I think it would be awesome to get that and use it as a poweramp with mine to get 300 W but id need another cab so thats out for now
