i just bought one for $125 dollars. i'm a beginner but i love this guitar. i'm playing on a borrowed ibanez practice amp but i have been thinking about getting a peavey transtube practice amp (it's slightly bigger than the ibanez plus it has a vintage tube setting i'm dying to try). i really want some effects too but i'm going to wait till i'm more skilled lol. when i try to slap or finger tap i get nothing at all, so i think i need to raise the action. but i'm a newb so its probably just me. any suggestion from experienced bassist would be extremely welcome
