Peavey Fury - Dating (Image added)

I just picked up an old Peavey Fury. I read here about Fury II, IV, etc, and wondered if they are so marked with what generation they are.

Mine has no marking other than "Fury" on the headstock.

There are many identifying features if you show pictures. The headstock, serial numbers, pickups, bridge, and body shape all indicate the period of production.

I've got 2 1994 Fury p-basses, and they are awesome.

The Fury 2 (or 4) was an Korean made import. The Fury 5 and 6 were 5 and 6 string import versions. What you have is the USA made real deal.

That is a "regular " Fury from around 94-98. The shape of the headstock makes it post 93, and the small route for the trussrod make it before 99. These are great p-bass style players, typically have alnico V pickups, jazz necks, and are extremely light. These are great players all around.

I have a '95 and the headstock looks exactly like that.
