Peavey G bass pickups

Hi guys

I'm looking to 'upgrade' a Peavey G bass by adding a second pickup
at the bridge (the one missing like all reviews say !)
My problem is that, as a 'collector' I want to put that exact Peavey stuff !
Seems imposible to find on the net, if any body could help, I would appreciate...
Thanks for your time.

Why don't you call Peavey and see what it costs to purchase a G-Bass VFL pickup outright. You might get a nice surprise... or a ?

My G-bass had a printed circuit board for wiring. Rather than trying to patch a second pickup and blend pot into that, you might want to snag the appropriate Cirrus preamp.

Yep. This is what I would recommend doing.

Can't blame you for wanting to stick with the VFLs, either. I LOVE(!) the recorded tone I can get out of my GV. Makes me sound like I'm almost worth a crap.

Peavey customer service is unparalleled; I've never dealt with a company as helpful and generous.

NTM, when you're put on hold, to transfer to someone else, it's, "Hang on a minute, darlin'" :D
