I have a 5 string PeVey grind I have been fixing up and I LOVE the sound of these stock pups (dual coil passive soapbar type), but the construction wasn't too great. They have a great midtone sound and snarl, anyone know of some pups that would be smiliar but good on a budget?
I can spend $80-100 total. I'm not looking for some amazing top rated sound, just something with good mids that doesn't cut.
