Peavey Headliner Series. Worth the wait?

I'm looking to buy a new stack (head, 410 cab & 115 cab). Has anyone played the new Peavey headliner series which has been announced but not yet released? I'm hearing about 6 weeks until they hit the stores. Does anyone know if that is an accurate date? Could anyone suggest another stack comparable in price and quality?

Peavey came from the heavens with this series.
You can get a 600watt head for 300$ along with a 800watt 410 for 300$. This is an amazing deal...you get peavey's well-known quality, truckloads of power for so little money. They officially released it now so look for video reviews online.

i have not seen them yet, but while i've seen many a low budget amp that kicked it, it seems that with cabs more than anything, you get what you pay for. so bear that in mind. skimping on bass and amp generally works out well if you have a good cab. but you can have the best amp and bass made and if you skimp on the cab it'll sound cheap.

I've been searching for and auditioning several 410 cabinets to go with an Ampeg B2RE amp that I bought on ebay and recently tested out the Peavey Headliner 410. I was pleasantly surprised! I actually thought it sounded better than their more expensive TVX 410. Not as bright, but more punch. Not as good as the Ampeg B410HLF -a bit muddier perhaps- but then that's that's a twice as expensive cab. Of course it would depend on your style, your taste and your amp, but at the price of $299 it's a good deal.

I bought a Headliner 4-10 with a peavey 450 watt head just to play at church. I was impressed. I had the cab rewired for 2 ohm. I just purchased a SVT 4 and am really considering buying 2 of them to accompany my ampeg head. For me.....they really sound awsome. We all have our own sound reflections, and this one, is above board for me. Price is not an issue here, sound is the only factor I am looking for.

I played through used one these recently at the local Guitar Center and was knocked out by how punchy and tight it sounded. They were only asking $150.00 so I had to spring for it. It is currently on "police hold" until June 5th. That is a local law here in Louisiana to make sure it is not stolen. Even at going price o $299.00 it seems to be a great cabinet for the money. The main thing I like best is that it is a sealed cabinet like my Ampeg SVT410HE. It is made in China, but what isn't these days.
