Peavey Max 110 bass combo.

So i have gotten together with a few mates to create a "band".
And i was just wondering if anyone has used it with drums. Is it capable to be heard over the drums at a resonable volume. At the moment we've only played at school and ive been using the school bass combo, (100w i think)
We are playing metal/hard rock such as Metallica, greenday, Parkway Drive ect

No, a 1x10 bass combo is a practice amp, meaning at home, alone practice. What you want is much bigger, both in wattage AND more importantly, much bigger spkr cabs.

The new Max series is pretty cool for it's price. I've tried the 115 (300 watts) and it's pretty loud and portable. I'm curious about the 112 myself. That one "should" be enough for your purpose, but...
