Well, this was more of a project than anything else. I had all the (VERY HARD TO FIND NOW ) parts so I put this together. Well, my buddy did the hard part like drilling the neck. I was too scared to do it.
- Peavey Millennium 4 NOS body custom color.
- Peavey Millennium Carbon Fiber neck. The SAME neck as used on the Gbass. Same 35" scale 22 fret neck. These were probably factory mistakes and silkscreened using the Millennium tag, but it legit and RARE !!
- Peavey Millennium preamp and pickups JJ style. Dead silent, lots of growl
- Hipshot Ultralights and Drop D tuner. So, now it's a Millennium Plus, minus the flame maple top that makes it an "official" plus.
- Cirrus rear covers and bridge.
- Dunlop Strap Locks
- Weighs 8.2 lbs
The first image looks like a chip after the word Millennium. It's a reflection, so I added a close up photo.
This bass has all the parts on it that are nearly impossible to get now since Peavey is no longer in business. So weird to say that !! SO, this bass is like a collection of super hard to find parts all in one bass.
I may regret selling this, but I can REALLY use the cash now, so ugh...
Shipping is abut $85 bucks now in lower 48, but I'll split it and say $850 OBO for TB members shipped in new gig bag.

Very nice!! Great quality and a great bass! I’m sure the playability/action is also amazing!
Thanks !! Yeah, I wasn't able to get the action super uber low like some of my basses, but it feels really good, actually. For some reason I get the feeling it would be a great bass to play with a pick. It just has that punk rock feel to it, whatever that means, that's just the initial emotion I had when I just picked it up to play just now. It's a joy to play. Maybe it needed a day or two to settle in. It feels in between a Pbass and a jazz bass. The neck feels a little fatter in the lower register. It feels very natural. I'm not fighting it at all.

Well, after playing this bass all morning, I think I might hold off selling it.

I'm REALLY loving the neck. I didn't know that the Gbass neck was a Pbass neck and the Millennium was a jazz neck, but now that I see the Gbass has one pickup, it JUST dawned on me that that was the whole idea ! The Gbass was a Cirrus Pbass. I feel so stupid for NEVER putting that together !!!

My 1987 Foundation also has a chunky neck and I LOVE it. I've only played Foundations that for the most part had Ibanez skinny necks, aside from the 90's versions with VFL looking single coils. So, for now, I'm holding off. Sorry for my scatterbrain. I reserve the right to change my mind, AGAIN... :) but for now I feel good about the decision.
