Peavey MiniMax price drop from $349 to $307....

I'm ordering it right now!
Any tips/suggestions on using it?
Mike
Unlike it's ancestors, the Made In USA "silver fins," the new Max series have a neutral tone. I got one as soon as they came out because I own a slew of classic Made In USA Peavey's, but I wasn't very happy with the tone of the MiniMax. I guess I like that "colored" mid-boost tone that the older Peaveys used to put out--they could cut through the loudest, densest stage mixes and stand out.

However, that is an excellent price for a 500 watt amp. Most younger players might find the "Max tone" to their liking. Pull the trigger, it's a super deal. And support is just a phone call in Meridian Mississippi. After some thought, I may give the gear another try down the road, considering they now have a 12" cab to go with their MiniMax.

Good luck and let us know everyone who buys one!
