Peavey preamp ?

I'm looking at a Peavey USA Millenium bass. My only concern is it's got a 18v 3 band active eq and as the bass is about 25 years old I had concerns about the long term reliability of the preamp. Are parts even still available? Don't wanna end up in a situation where it's easier to get parts for a UFO if something goes wrong with it. Or are they kinda considered "bulletproof" reliable?

I have some Cirrus basses from the same period. All of my Millennium preamps (I changed them all out for the sweepable midrange control) have been rock solid. I wouldn’t worry about the preamp.
