I was checking out Guitar Center today and found a Peavey T-40 up on the used wall. It had a couple stickers on it, but nothing a little GooGone and a razor can't fix. I really had a great time playing it, pickups sounded awesome and the controls work fine. Only thing I saw structurally was the pieces of the body kinda cracking at the seams. Didn't seem like they were going far though, just age worn.
Here's the price... $259
Very hard to pass it up, but finances aren't great for me and I have a bass project to finish anyway.
