I want a superfuzz, I've wanted a superfuzz for a long time, but if I get one, I need to get rid of another fuzz first. Maybe the You're Doom. @DirtyDuke , I never use it, but I will regret it, won't I?

Don't do it lol. You'll just but another one anyway. It's a real I miss as soon as I take it off my board

Why would you need to? Is it too loud?

I thought the opposite. I seem to almost use it in pairing with my EP Boost - I am not talking about a huge drop in volume or anything, but I have often wished I had more output with it.

I have to say I have felt that about a lot of delays or deep/weird reverb pedals in the past - one of the reasons I love the Moogs is that they have that drive knob so you can really cut through with your delay. Genius addition to the MF-Delay imho

Adam Yauch played an original Univox? Are those impossible to find? I wouldn't mind supporting EQD again after what they did for Andy Richardsons family.
He did use the Univox. Later on he was using a DNA Bass Dragger for fuzz, but that's not a Superfuzz. OG Univox prices are steep. Saw one on Reverb yesterday for $750.

Edit: there are a bunch on Reverb for less than that. Seems like prices have actually gone down a bit.

I really want one of those. I was hoping to hear from a few real world bass players about it by now but alas...

I think JWR had one for a minute. Milo might have it now I think. He may have flipped it too. That's not a great sign? Then again they are breeders. It would be like assuming every pedal somn flipped was bad. We all know that's not true! :)
I did have one and thought it was great (bought jwr's). I'll probably get one again. I only sold it because I'm in buy-it-to-try-it mode.

Satisfy your non-existent GAS for a nano Goth-styled distortion pedal:

$65 BIN on ebay right now, LOL. SVI Sound 96nu llSup er HiGa inDistorti onMi niPed | eBay

I actually have the GeFuzz from this same maker and like it and have my eye on another Fuzz from him. No idea if this distortion is any good. Knobs on this one look very uncomfortable but eyes that light up red is a nice touch.

Given how much you like the fuzz this would seem worth the gamble at $65 no?
