Finally: my first post in this thread! Just a crappy cellphone pic... I received my Fuzzistor today. Took the tuner off to make place for the fuzz. There's still some room but I need a bigger board and 2nd psu to fit my tuner, filter, looper, Valvedrive and Tonehammer. Looking forward to my upcoming gigs to roadtest the new fuzz.

Signalchain: Providence DBS > Octamizer > Bass Juice > Agro > Fuzzistor > TLC > VP jr > RC booster > X-Blender. El Capistan and Bluesky are in the blend loop.

Vintage musictronics phasor I.

Nice. Some people prefer them to the Phasor IIs. The Phasor II is the optical circuit that Mike ended up being famous for and that makes up 1/2 of the BiPhase. I like both.

Never opened an SB2, curious to see a gut shot. My guess is it would be a challenge but certainly possible. It may fit in one of those 125bb enclosures. You should give it a week first to see if youre keeping it haha

Very nice. How do you like the Providence?

I think it's great! You can use it with one bass as a 2 channel preamp with different eq settings. I like to set channel B with a boost on the lows and cut the highs to get a dark sound vs bright or flat on channel A. Or with two basses you can easily match levels and add some eq to your taste. It's very clean and transparent, even at maximum settings. There's a separate tuner output for silent tuning (stays active all the time).

By the way - on the Afterneath - I was wondering today if it would be possible to do a volume mod on it. Anyone ever consider it?

It sounded like the perfect Phasor to me. So fat and warm and natural and tasty.

It's a really good one.

I want a superfuzz, I've wanted a superfuzz for a long time, but if I get one, I need to get rid of another fuzz first. Maybe the You're Doom. @DirtyDuke , I never use it, but I will regret it, won't I?
