Pedal Height Info

I'm trying to find the dimensions for the following pedals to calculate how many straight-straight couplers I can use. Anyone with any info on any of these pedals, please chime in!

Bass RC Booster
Compulator
Turbo Tuner ST-200
ISP Decimator

Can't remark on any of your pedals but have you seen the brass offset couplers with the circular bit inbetween the two plugs? They might be handy if you've got height issues.

Pedal height isn't really a relevant factor when it comes to using straight couplers, IME.

Your bigger concern is the height of the jack from the bottom of the pedal. Pedals of different heights can still have their jacks line up perfectly for a straight plug. Pedals of the same heights can still have their jacks at heights different from other pedals.

Among pedals of the same brand and size, however, you'll find reliable consistencies. It's when you try to connect pedals of two different brands that you get the majority of issues.

Looking at the pedals you have, I have no idea where to begin, as I've never owned any of them.

All I can do is criticize your next moment of ambiguity.

I'm assuming that you don't own any of these yet or you'd just measure it yourself. In that case other relevant info would be if the input/output are on the front or sides, if the in/out is in standard right side / left side setup, and where in the front-to-rear dimentions the jack is. Probably easiest to just wait until you get your hands on all of the pedals.

I measured my Bass RC Booster... center of the 1/4" jacks are approximately 2.1cm from the bottom plate (not rubber feet).

However, I really don't recommend "pedal-cranks" or other rigid 1/4" couplers for pedals. Especially not varying brand pedals with different dimensions. Even if you have exactly sized pedals (let's say all Boss pedals, for instance) that are secured tightly to a solid surface (in other words - not velcro), you can still expect your 1/4" jacks to eventually wear out or possibly even damage pc boards that are attached to the jacks. It won't happen overnight (more like months or a couple years) - but eventually all of the "stomping" on your pedals will begin to cause stress issues. Just my 2 cents....
