Hi folks.
I've recently purchased an EXH Micro Pog and hoping it'll work well with the rest of my board when it arrives. However, I'm wondering if I'm going to run into issues regarding the impedance of it when running into my other pedals.
It's my intention to have the Micro Pog immediately after my Boss TU-2 and before my Xotic BB Preamp before carrying on through the rest of the chain. The potential problem I'm anticipating is the fact the output impedance of the Pog is "250 ohms" and the input of the BB Preamp is "500k ohms (min)" according to each respective manufactures specs. It's my understanding the input impedance needs to be at least 10x times more than the output of the device that's in front, so does that mean the proposed arrangement won't work?
I realise I can always switch the Pog and BB around as the output of the BB is 10k ohm and the input of the Pog is 2m ohm, but I'm under the impression it's best to have the Pog before any drives, distortions, etc so it receives the cleanest signal possible. I'm concerned the Pog won't sound the way I hope in this scenario.
Any insight into this kind of thing would be greatly appreciated as I'm clueless with this stuff. Thanks in advance!
