I just bought a Boss Octave pedal - the OC-3. I use a Radial bassbone and put all my effects in the loop. I have a Boss CEB-3 and an MXR bass auto Q already. For the most part I only use the CEB-3 when I play my fretless and I only use the auto-q for the fretted. I will probably use the oc3 with both. I plan on using the octave and auto-q combined and sometimes the octave and chorus combined, but never (most likely) the auto-q, chorus, and octave combined. So... what order? Oh yeah, and I have a TU-2 as well, but I usually just run that from the tuner out on the bassbone. I do have a bassballs but hardly ever use it and I'm probably just going to leave it off the board as little use as it gets.

Not a comment about order, but dude, definitely try that auto-q for the fretless. Sounds very cool with mine. Filters+fretless=nice.

might have to do that. I'm starting to play the fretless more and more anyway, even on tunes that wouldn't be considered "fretless" tunes. Why not mix it up and put some non-typical effects on it too?
