I got a single compressor pedal that I use. It was being powered by a more expensive power source. Unfortunately, it succumbed to road wear and tear and I had to get a new one. I bought a cheaper one, and it seems to have changed the performance. Is this possible? If the voltage requirement is met, shouldn't that be enough?

Pedal power: does it make a difference?

Voltage is important, current draw (mA) is equally so. If you exceed the total current out put with the current draw of your pedals, some may suffer, some just won't power up.
