I think I remember seeing an octave pedal like that on here at one time but after an exhaustive search I can't find anything. It may of been a guitar pedal, I just can't remember for the life of me what it's name was. I think it might of been in a red housing. Again could be entirely wrong on that as well. Any help?

Pedal that does octave up and down at the same time.

No it was the POG. I'm going to get it till I can get my 12 string made to tide me over in the meantime.
Nope,both are polyphonic tri octave octavers.
Like the EBS goes against the MXR BOD for example,both are analog octave down octavers,the MPog goes up against the Octavius.
(I got the EBS OctaBass for that fat **** sound and the Octavius for this sort of atmospheric-organ sound)

Having listened to the samples on the T-Rex page, it sounds like the Octavius has the same slight tracking delay common to these devices. It's really apparent in the video by Brett Kingman.
Is it the boost which makes you claim the Octavius beats the Micro POG? I don't know... if I were going to spend the extra money, I'd probably go just a little bit further and get the POG2, which has the filtering functions and presets for less of a price difference between the POG2 and the Octavius than between the Octavius and the Micro Pog....
Could you be more specific in *how* the Octavius "beats" the Micro POG? I'm not seeing/hearing it, except for that one difference you note, and I don't know if everyone would count a clean boost as a make-or-break feature, especially if you already have control over the three octaves (original and octave up plus octave down) available.

FWIW, the Exar Octavium does octave up and down simultaneously, and it is a lot cheaper than either the POG or the T-Rex. Its tracking has the same issues as most of the others, but again--you get a lot for the money.
I am going to upload a video to youtube about octavers and about the EBS and the Octavius so it might help you understand how it really is better then the MPog.

EHX BMS, Exar Octavium, Micro Pog, Pog, Pog2, Line 6 M9, M13, Pollyanna, Zoom B2, ....IME the digital ones track a little lower and add less of their own color to your sound. The analogs may sound fatter, synthier, dirtier, glitchier. I guess they tend to have more flavor as a stand alone unit.
