Hi all,

I'm wanting a pedal to add some grit when using my Boss LS-2 in parallel mode .. to sound something like DG Microtubes X … I'm considering a mini tube screamer but am open to any suggestions lol

I'm also a fan of the Li'l Fella. I use a LS-2 as well, but a little differently I have two effect loops, one that's a more classic synthy thing and another that's more weirdness. It gets really interesting when they're in parallel! Anyways, each loop has a dirt pedal. The synthy one has the Li'l Fella, the weirdness one has a Red Panda Bitmap 2, which has bitcrushing as well as wavefolding and waveshaping for more digital distortion.

I used a Boss LS-2 with a HM-2 or MT-2 in one loop and a EQ-7 (as a primitive LowPassFilter) in the other loop. I also have a DG X7 and I would say the setup with the MT-2 comes (in a band mix!) close, not joking. Remember, the MT-2 has a really powerful EQ. On the other hand I have to overhype the HM-2 on this forum..:). The HM-2 has, like the Rat, a distortion on the fuzzy side. Excellent for loud/sludgy music or shoegaze, post-rock and whatnot !

But why am I writing this, OP seems gone?
