Pedalboard splitter?

I was looking into getting a simple 2 way splitter (looked at both passive and active/buffered versions even though I have plenty of buffers on my board) and most of the info I found online says that a lot of noise can be introduced unless your splitter box has a transformer. But I wanted mine for live use, where noise is more of an issue. So that was a no go for me. Hope you don't get any noise when splitting your signal 8 ways :O
I have a couple Saturnworks splitters and they work well. Mine are simple, passive 2-ways. I think he uses a resistor between the output jacks so crosstalk and noise are minized. That has been sufficient for my applications.
Adding isolation transformers to one would not be difficult but it will undoubtedly add to the cost. You definitely have a few options but knowing what kind of budget you're working with would be helpful.
Your setup sounds very interesting and it is right up my alley. I have preferred to keep as much analog gear in my recording setup as possible and never use plug-ins or editing tools. If I make a mistake in tracking, I just redo the take. Seems to give me more organic-feeling recordings and I think it makes me pay closer attention to what I'm doing, thus making me a better player.
Plenty of people use digital technology and plug-ins to great results and I won't bash that, I just have a system that works for me.

Found a used Radial Shotgun locally. Between the four outputs there, and the XLR outs on my B7k and DSM Omnicab, I'm at 6 simultaneous outputs. This is enough for now, and it's still somewhat expandable if necessary.
