I cracked mine open and added a resistor inline with the LED. Those things are brutal!

Two months ago I didn't have a single pedal. Now I have all of this! And, I'm loving it.

Nice! is your rat modded for bass?

Behringer makes up for the lower cost with brighter LEDs. It adds to the tone.

Yes, I did the Reutz mod and it really improved the bottom end. I did it myself with sweaty, trembling hands after checking about 20 times that I had the right resistor (or whatever you call it). As you might guess, this was my first pedal mod and I'm not much of an electrical engineer.


mmbongo, if you look closely you'll notice that I've put a piece of masking tape over both of the retina burning LED's. It brings the brightness down to a level were I can actually see the notes displayed on the tuner.

I know Behringer is low end and not much loved but I'm just starting out and playing for my own pleasure. So far they work just fine for me, though I do plan to upgrade when it is more financially feasible.

What'cha got going on in that peculiar little box on the far right? A/B?

Also, as it appears you'll no longer have the OSD on your board, how is the Rusty Box doing at fulfilling your OD needs? Is there a little spot in your heart where any more gain belongs? I really want both, but can't justify it financially.

Yup A/B on far right. The rusty box is awesome as an always on od the Rat King takes care of my od heavier needs.

Thanks, guys. Pico works for me. I have Rhino-Skin anti-slip rug tape underneath to keep it from sliding around, but it's starting to shred a little. Not sure how long it will last. I need something more hardy.
