Pedaltrain Modifications

has anyone modified a pedaltrain to attach a 1U rack effect?
I have an AGRO rack unit that I would like to run through my pedal board and not my effects loop. I have it mounted on a homemade board (Ikea GORM shelf), but its not big enough to fit the rest of my pedals.

dont have a pedaltrain yet, but I was looking at the PT-2.

The AGRO is fairly shallow at barely over 4 inches deep. On the gorm pedalboard, I have the rackmount brackets turned around which raises the AGRO about another inch. would still need and Inch or 2 of clearance at the rear for footswitch cable, power, and lines in and out, maybe less if I use right angle plugs (would have to put new ends on the power and footswitch, bother are molded straight plugs).

My concern would be mounting it is in such a way that you could still easily and safely transport your pedal board. The case for the PT-2 is not going to accommodate anything too extreme.

The safest and most secure way would be to mount it under the pedal board using the hardware they provide to mount the power supply. The depth is pretty similar to a Voodoo Labs PS which the mounting is designed to work with. It would limit access, but if you don't need it, it would at least be out of the way and not impede storage and transport.

I have temporarily modded my old pedal board to hold the AGRO, I am going to play with my effects order for a while and decide if I want to keep it, if I do, I'm going to pick up a pedaltrain and mod it to fit the AGRO.

current chain is Bass>AGRO>Bad Monkey>BBM> OC2>Source Audio BEF> Opto-Stomp>Amp

Im leaving off my CE-5, Memory Boy, and 105Q while I play with the order.

I'll put up pics of my ikea shelf hack job tonight

+1 on all.
These boards in the soft bag are not highly protective especially when a piece sits high off the board. I'm always annoyed at how badly my setting get changed during transport.
