I can't believe I'm doing this. The taxman cometh, and the taxman taketh. I have to pay my property tax, and my wife thinks I have too many basses, so this one has to go. I know I'll regret this move, but here it goes.
This is a beautiful 1992 Pedulla T5 Thunderbass, with a AAA (conservative rating) flame maple vintage cherry sunburst finish. It was made in 1992 BUT....the previous owner sent it in to Michael Pedulla a little over a year ago, and had all the pickups and electronics (including the Thundersound and Thunderguts circuits) updated to the current version. It also comes with a new Pedulla Thunderderbass hard shell case.
This is a beauty and plays great. Balance is perfect. Frets are in great shape, neck is straight. There are a few tiny dings: two tiny ones on the back of the neck, a superficial scratch/crack in the finish on the back near the body contour line, and 2 small areas where urethane is rubbing off the neck at the edge of the fingerboard (one on the B string side near the 3rd fret - look at the side position dot - and one on the G side between the nut and the 1st fret), and a small spot of the back edge of the top of the headstock where the finish looks rubbed or oxidized, but not dented. I tried my best to show these with close up pictures. On the bass, they are very hard to see. I can't see any buckle rash. Overall it's in beautiful shape, 100% functional, and sounds and plays like a new Thunderbass, especially with the recent upgrades.
Has been well taken care of, and kept in my temp and humidity controlled music room. No smoke exposure.
