I have a Pensa 5 string up for grabs! If you are not familiar with Pensa, these are handmade by Rudy Pensa of Rudys Music Shop in NYC. Christian McBride and Mark Knopfler are heavy users of Pensa Instruments. Build and finish is second to none. This has been my main bass for several years. This bass is absolutely gorgeous and sounds fantastic. It has push/pull active/passive so you can get old school jazz vibes to very modern and aggressive tones. Active preamp is Boost only Bass and Boost/Cut treble. I play my instruments, they do not sit in cases unused. Condition is very good with a few small dings in the headstock and one of the back (all shown in the attached video). Bass was built in 2012. 34 inch scale. Action is very low.
Cash is king but Im also interested in trades. Vintage Fender jazz (60s-early 70s - Love worn instruments). Sadowsky NYC 5 string Modern, Maybe a jazz 5. Fodera 5 Dreaming of a MG5. Maybe something else??? +/- depending on value. 34 scale or shorter only.
