Perfect Strings for Dingwall NG3 5 String

Hey everyone,

I'm about to purchase a Dingwall NG3 5 String bass and want to tune it to A-E-A-D-G.

It will be my first Multiscale bass, so I have no experience with it.

I currently play an Ibanez Bass with a scale of 34" with these strings:

D'Addario EPS165. This is a 4-String pack: 045-065-085-105. I add a Single PSB145 tapered string for the low A.

I'm very happy with the tension I'm getting using this setup and I wonder what would be the rights strings for me on the Dingwall NG3

Dingwall recommends Kalium Strings, but I live in Germany, so that's impractical for me. I like the sound of the D'Addario Pro Steels quite fine, so I don't have a problem buying D'Addario single strings to build my custom set.

The question is what strings should I use to get an even tension?

According to this chart, when using Kalium strings, I should use a .150 String for the low A, but this chart is for Kalium and I'm not sure it will apply to D'Addario as well:

D'Addario's own chart does not go over .130 unfortunately

So I was hoping that someone here could help me put together a great set of Strings for the NG3.

Thanks!
