Double Bass Perlon core strings on EUB?

I'm trying a set of Sensicore perlon core strings on my BugBass. The sound seems a little rounder and fuller than the Helicore Hybrids I've used for quite awhile.

The main downside seems to be the need for more tuning, but maybe that will settle down over time.

Anybody tried some sort of non-steel core string on their EUB?

I had a set of Evah Weichs recently.
I found them still somewhat too stiff for my needs. (have a tendinitis since about a year now)
Today I put a set of solo-tuning Obligatos.

These strings (as well as Sensicores) do stretch a lot in the first few days.
They should have fully stabilized after about a week.

I've been using solo gauge Obligato D and G (Spiro Weich E and A) for a few years now on my Azola Bug. Very stable tuning wise, no problems.

I have had excellent results using Invalid Link Removed strings.

A bit of a report back. This week, I played two blues gigs on the BugBass strung with Sensicores.

These strings had a deeper, rounder thump than the Helicore Hybrid Lights I'd been using, with plenty of sustain and some growl on the E string if I let it.

The left hand felt the tension of the thicker, more usual gauge string, especially my pinky. My right hand felt more flexibility of the pluck, though.

The strings basically settled into pitch, but are just a tiny bit flat when I return to the bass from the day before. Certainly nothing like the time I put Red-O-Rays on my American Standard upright a few hours before a NYE gig and couldn't stay in tune for even one song

Dan, are you saying that the Sensicores, take more effort with the left hand, compared to the DA Hybrid lites?

That's what my pinkie tells me...right hand says the opposite.
