Tony Levin is sort of a Music Man OG. He has some special stuff. There are online articles about his gear.
I've got tickets for Madison Square Garden. Can't wait!!!
They sound great! I haven't ever seen Peter but I did get a chance to see Tony with his King Crimson side project Stick Men. He's definitely still got it even at 76.
On his Facebook feed Tony recently mentioned that they didn't even have to rehearse those steps, everyone (well, he, Peter, & David Rhodes) still remembered them!
fwiw I've seen PG live three times, twice in 1986 on the So tour, and once in 2002 on the Growing Up tour. His current i/o tour is one of the few big arena tours I would even consider going to these days...but those ticket prices!!! Sorry Peter, gonna have to just watch on youtube this year.
Still one of those songs I will NEVER get sick of listening to. Still sounds great after all these years!
You know Doc, he sounds as good now as he did in the UC Irvine gym in '76 or '77. Listen to the Strawberry Hill vid. Amazing.
Peter sounds fantastic! He clearly has taken care of himself very well.
With large screens and modern sound systems, even nosebleed seats for an arena show can be great. You should go!
He sounds good live in the clip you shared. I am planning to get tickets for one of the shows. Big fan and looking forward to the album being released. All the material I have heard thus far has been very good.
One small nit I have is how sloppy and compressed the stage looks. At the price point for these shows I would expect this to look a lot better.

As much as I'd love to see this live, there's no way I can justify the prices. I make a decent living, but I'd be forever thinking, "Great show, but I could have used that money for x."
Saw John Cleese last year (and no, I don't agree with much of what he says, but he is a comedy legend). The strongest memory is how TicketMonster ripped me off.

When I saw him he had an ampless rig for his Chapman Stick. I got a pretty good shot from the front row. A little hard to see in this picture but it looks like he's using a Neural DSP Quad Cortex. It sounded huge!
(By the way if you want to see Tony and don't want to sell a kidney/firstborn child/take out a second mortgage I paid $25 for this show with Stick Men, all general assembly pricing. Might vary based on the venue but I definitely got my money's worth)

Love Peter Gabriel...always liked that smooth bass on this song..Thinking the original bass was a fretless?..Peter still sounds great!

He's been releasing a new song since the first full moon back in January. With every full moon he releases a new song and later offers alternate productions of it. His last song from the May full moon was a masterpiece.
I saw the Lamb Lies Down Tour. He was second only to Bowie at that time as far as a transcendent, otherworldly stage presence.
I missed the Lamb tour. I saw them at Seton Hall University in NJ in '73 on the Selling England tour. I was a kid, barely thirteen and heavily into them, Yes, Crimson, ELP, ect. and was completely blown away.
