Phil Jones B-200 & Cab 27 Combo

I was thinking of getting the combination of the Phil Jones BP - 200 Head and Cab-27 cabinet. I'm looking to for a bit more power and improved sound from my little practice amps. I currently have the Fender Rumble Studio 40 and an Acoustic B-25C.
I'm not looking for anything too big for large spaces. Just enough for good practice with others and maybe small scale gigs.
Does anyone have any takes on this combo, experience with it or any other suggestions. I've tried the products out in person but didn't think I wanted to go with something higher like the Cab-67.

I have a Session 77 and I expect this to be quite a similar setup (minus the expansion possibilities and DI, but I expect volume to be roughly the same).

yeah, it would be louder than a 1x8" practice amp for sure. but would it be enough for playing with a heavy handed drummer and other loud instruments without FOH support? likely not. it's only 100W into two 7" speakers.

this all said, if I'd be getting those 7" cabs again, I'd get two CAB-47s instead. and a D400, not the BP200. both D400 and CAB47s are available for purchase in Europe, you can get ship them to US via Thomann.

a differently voiced alternative would be two C4s and a BP800.

p.s. you won't need second cab for quiet occasions, but you'll be glad, you have it when you'll need a louder rig. so it's safe to start with one cab and add the second down the road.

Thanks for the response. Do you know (or anyone else know) if the Cab 47 and the D400 work with American style plugs and outlets since they are not meant for the
U. S. Market? Do they require any modifications?

they work. cabs are universal, but bulky to ship.

the d400 has a universal power supply, you get a US IEC cable and that's it, not even flicking a switch needed. you can see it's written on it's back '100-240V 50/60Hz'
