They probably don’t like them or found something better.

My vote goes to footprint relative to function. That is quite a bit of board space (and side jacks) for a 5 band EQ + DI.

When a new product is announced a lot of people buy it to try it, then many of them sell it off to buy the next new thing. It doesn't have as much to do with whether it's good, and more to do with whether it serves their particular needs.
