Philadephia Area Guitar (bass) Technician/Luthier

Hi,

To any TB members who either live in the general Philadelphia or Wilmington DE area, or who would know: I am looking for a reputable bass (or guitar) technician. I have a Rickenbacker 4003S that needs some fret work, and the guy I was going to is no longer in business (Don Golfen in Upper Darby). Please help??

There is a Guitar Center and Sam Ash within 30 minutes, but I don't always trust the technicians there - it's kind of a crap shoot and I'm not interested to gamble with my bass. I don't want to violate the policies or terms of service with TB, so if making recommendations in this thread is not okay, I think you can PM me without breaking the rules.

Thanks!!

In case you're still looking, Rick Emery in Ardmore is excellent. Very close to Upper Darby. In Philly proper, Jeff White (aka Port Richmond Guitar Spa) is also great.
