Phoenix Basscraft - Any Experiences?

found this company run by luthier michael o'rourke called "phoenix basscraft." the website's of the same name. does anyone have any experience with his work? i'm enamored by the photos and they sound really good on paper, but i'm reluctant to drop that amount of money on something i can't try or independently verify the quality of. couldn't find anything by googling.

If I may be so bold, This iteration of the company is new. It rose out of the ashes, so to speak, of 316 bass guitars That I started in 2017. Life struggles resulted in shutting that down for a while, until I was able to re-emerge. If there are any questions I can answer, please ask either here in the forum, or more directly to me at PBC. I understand the reluctance of plunking down hard earned cabbage on an unknown. Particularly something as personal and intimate as a favored instrument. If I may push modesty aside for a moment, I've sold close to 100 instruments since 2017. The only one returned was due to severe mishandling by UPS. The most common compliment I get is on the feel of the neck, and the action. The shape is based on the venerable jazz bass. I am fairly creative with wiring options. I hate clutter. I'm not a fan of many controls. I prefer to compact functionality in as few controls as possible. This often results in building my own pots. If, for any reason, the new owner is unhappy with the final product, and adjustments or further customization doesn't make you happy, I will take it back. All I ask is the chance to make it right in the very unlikely case it doesn't meet your expectations. I'm that confident in my work.
Bottom line is, I've been playing since the 80's. I feel I know what a bass should feel, sonund, and look like. I build every bass as if it were for myself. I love custom orders for nearly anything but the shape.
