Photoshop Request - Fender P

Lovely bass and nice flame. I think anything but a plain pick guard detracts from the wood (think less is more). I don't mind the white and agree that black could really be nice.

Though I like the Tort best, too.

Um, well, to me it is like having a striped shirt with plaid pants. Too much visual business between the clashing patterns of the flame top and fancy pickguards.

How about plain white?

In the OP the bass already has a plain white pickguard. He's just trying to see what other guards would look like.

I like the gloss black myself.

I usually don't care for tort with a maple board, but it looks great on that one. Normally with a burst/maple, I like the gloss black the best. Either of those two would be my choice. (Forget what I said earlier in the tread about the gold sparkle!!)
