with a scratchy volume pot, missing nut and a cracked neck plus the fact it was a memphis ply junker i think the kid is better off studying

God? are you listening make me famous and i'll give millions to charity and set up music programs for needy children

I dunno man i never have cared about strings. I never knew you had to change them i played my first bass everyday for over two years with some rounds. I took the bass in to have the input fixed and the guy said your strings died over a year and a half ago haha

They sound great, play great the only thing in the way for me was the price and here they are cheap! Even flats sound awesome! Listen to harris!

Edit: I had 18yr old strings on my bass when i got it! I got it from a pawn shop and the guy who owned it said a guy came in 17 1/2 yrs before I bought it and the bass just sat there from that day on!
 
Tellin me whatev when you use halfrounds... Shame, shame! You could be playing Rotos for half the price. I will pm you if you want.

Im still experimenting.

Strings are like putters (Remember, Im a golfer), which I think no matter how much they cost, they should be the one thing you splurge on no matter what.

IMO.

I am doing alot of killer covers with my current band there bassist is a decent player


I have always been a fan of the Killers. Maroon 5's bassist is pretty good too.
