Photoshop wizards, help needed!

Hey Everyone,

I recently bought a Yamaha bbg4a and I really like it. The only thing I don't really like about it are the pickups. They are aftermarket nobrand soapbar humbuckers. I would like to put some jazz pu's in there. I will have to put a pickguard over it to conceil the gaps. I would like to make a kind of musicman oval pickguard for it in tortoise. Is there anyone who can photoshop this for me, so that I have an idea how it would look before I make the changes.

Put some Nord's or Bart's in there and leave it as is. That's a nice looking bass.

I haven't found any barts that would fit the bass.

And nordys would be kind of smallish.

The pu's that are in there now are 1.34" by 4.02" and nordys are 1.25 by 3.95".

I think the blend knob is too close to the pickguard.
Let's see If I can rectify that.

Could you do it with jazz pu's?

And maybe a little smaller guard, because it wouldn't be possible to remove a knob.

Yeah, that is a beautiful top, isn't it?

You really dont have to place a pickguard on the bass. All you need to do is cover the gaps with contoured lexan plastic trim painted black. I agree with the above, that yam looks odd with the stingray pickguard.

what about getting some of those jazz pickup plates which would cover the extra space? i know that yamaha has used those for years w/ the BB series

EDIT: I was typing before mjolnir's post got to my screen... that's EXACTLY what I was referring to. Those would look CRAZY hot with a top like yours.
