I learned it when I joined a frat. I can still recite it really fast and that was over 35 years ago. I knew some because of the classes I took, though.

I can quickly recite the English alphabet backwards, but not the Greek. I learned to do it specifically to pass field sobriety tests. It's only been used as a bar trick up to this point, though.

I was pulled over one night, after 4 hours of playing 'Quarters'. The cop asked if I knew the alphabet and, being the pinhead I was, my first thought was to ask if he wanted English, Spanish of Greek.

I resisted the urge.
