Pic loading help?

Our computer is old and packed FULL of crepe to the point I can't get any pictures into it(from cam or phone)to move into Picasa, to eBay a couple items. I am a complete moron in this area and will pass any suggestions onto my IT guy(wife:rolleyes:)...
So- short of a new computer, what, if anything, can a fool do?
We have an iPad- is there a way to put the images through it?

You need to clean up your computer...
As a rule it is a bad idea to fully load a hard drive! The boot drive, the one that has your operating system should have at least around 10% of free space (some recommend as much as 15%), that is so the computer can move things around during usual tasks.
Fill it up completely and you will experience slowing down and poor performance.

I would recommend you either get rid of some old crap you have hidden all around, or buy an external hard drive and store things you do not really need on it.

External hard drives are so cheap nowadays they should be used! I barely use my internal hard drive at all, it has my music and pictures on it, i use maybe 20% of the 1TB.
I have 3 external hard drives plugged in all the time, one fore time machine (backup), one for movies, one for series and random files, that keeps my internal hard drive nice and clean.
