Pick Up Placement

Using the Neck as a Level
I got P-Bass, Jazz and a MusicMan Pick Guards.
Using the P-Bass as the Base

Jazz
The Neck Pickup was about in line with the Higher of the P-Bass.
The Bridge Pickup is about 40mm below the Lowest of the P-Bass.

MusicMan
(note i had to guess about best i could were in dual picks up this one, as the pick guards are hard to get hold of)
The Neck Humbuckle Pickup was about 8mm above the Highest of the P-Bass.
And the Bridge Humbuckle seems to be on the Lower of the P-Bass.

Guessing that all the necks are within 10mm of each other
And i was expecting the MusicMan Pickups to be more in line with the Jazz, as i did hear that just using the single coil in the MusicMan Humbuckle could sound very jazz sounding

So a bit shocked how HIGH up the Humbuckle Neck Pickup is

Or have i got all the rought measurments wrong

Its ok i found a LINK : http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f38/best-pick-up-distances-neck-bridge-950313/
